I call the Charismatics 7/11’s- they like to sing about 7 lines 11 times :)LOL.
Nothing wrong with true repetitive worship but there is indeed such thing as monotony; often also these songs are focusing on MAN and not on the Lord Jesus… In fact, one should always be wary in ANY church where the precious Name of Jesus is seldom used… It really disturbs my spirit if people pray or sing to “God” but say nothing about His Son! I always ask “Which God?”
You will see that I am NOT condemning all Charismatic churches, only those who cannot discern between God’s true Holy Spirit and Satan’s false signs and wonders “Even him [ the Antichrist], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders…” (2 Thes 2:9)
We must remember Satan is a counterfeiter; I do not believe he can be original. So he comes with COUNTERFEIT signs and COUNTERFEIT wonders; COUNTERFEIT miracles. Surely logic tells us that as his (Satan)’s time on earth become less and less his efforts to deceive mankind will increase. Thus we can expect more and more FALSE miracles and perhaps see less and less visible TRUE miracles. (I am not talking here about the miracles in the small: like every flower is a miracle of God, every child that is born, every sunrise etc. I am talking about supernatural, visible and spectacular miracles such as a man rising from the dead or a medically certified lame man getting up out of a wheelchair). In ministries of Oral Roberts or Benny Hinn, for example, not one of the “healings” could be medically substantiated. Read more at http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Wolves/benny_hinn-fake.htm
