Mystery Babylon
In Rev 17:3,5 we read about MYSTERY BABYLON, a woman sitting upon a beast. The beast was full of names of blasphemy, and had seven heads and ten horns. Rev 17: 9 explains that the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. Rev 17:12,13 explains that the ten horns are ten kings, that have “one mind.”

The best-known cities in the world built upon 7 mountains or hills are the Vatican (ancient headquarters of the Western and Central Roman empire), and Constantinople (ancient head of the Eastern Roman empire). So traditionally Biblical scholars have speculated that Mystery Babylon equates the Roman Catholic church, one of the most dominant and powerful governing institutions in the world.

It is further believed that the 10 horns/ kings refer to 10 dominant European Union countries, of which Italy is one.

However, it is becoming evident that Mystery Babylon is more than just the Catholic church. The World Economic Forum (WEF), under Klaus Schwab (with homosexual personal advisor Yuval Noah Harari, who openly blasphemes God and scorns Christians) is playing a leading role here. So does the United Nations (UN).

Why do we need to know about Mystery Babylon? Because she takes power before the Antichrist. Rev 17:11 refers to an 8th beast, that cometh “of the seven.” If we believe that the rapture will be the removal of the Church before the seven years of the Great Tribulation, then believers will probably not see the Antichrist taking power over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations – Rev 13:7.
BUT we might very well see Mystery Babylon unfold, to lay the groundwork for the Antichrist. We are already seeing it. She sets everything up for his rule. Initially Mystery Babylon will control the Antichrist, but later the Antichrist will turn the tables and become the world dictator, in the place of the WEF or the UN.

Role of the World Economic Forum:
The goal of the World Economic Forum, is to eliminate nation states. The sovereignty that individual countries and states have, must be replaced with a One World Government. In Klaus Schwab’s book he calls it “stakeholder governance”, that will include big corporations (Facebook, Google, Twitter, Microsoft etc.), current national governments (The USA, South-Africa, China etc.), the United Nations themselves, and civil society organizations, including certain NGOs, trade unions, social movements, grassroots organisations, online networks and communities, and faith groups (VanDyck, 2017; WEF, 2013). Note that it includes religious groups.

You might be surprised to see who all are supporting this goal. South-African WEF partners, for example, listed on their website, include the South-African Reserve Bank, FirstRand (includes FNB), MNet, pres Jacob Zuma, pres Thabo Mbeki, pres Cyril Ramaphosa, Naledi Pandor, and many others. It was God’s will, however, to have diverse nations with multi-national power. When the people tried to build the Tower of Babel, God dispersed them abroad upon the whole face of the earth- Gen 11:4-6. God knew that if there is a One World Government, man will think himself to be god, since ultimate power corrupts ultimately. Again in Daniel 2 we see how God gave Nebuchadnezzar a dream about “what shall be in the latter days”- Dan 2:28. His dream was about different world powers. The last human government (thus the New World Government) shall try to mingle iron with clay, but they shall not cleave to one another, “even as iron is not mixed with clay”- Dan 2:43 By the way, this could very well refer to the globalists, who will try to create Transhumanism, mixing people with machines/ Artificial Intelligence). Perhaps this is why Rev 15 and 16 mention the wrath of God falling on those who take the mark of the beast- since they will not be able to repent. Does this mean that Artificial Intelligence will control them to the extent that they are no longer humans with a soul that can make free choices? It’s not unlikely.

Role of the United Nations:
The UN lists 17 goals of sustainable development in their UN 2030 Agenda to promote “peace and prosperity.” Jer 6:14 comes to mind: “(they will be) saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” The Paris Agreement on Climate Change, is but one example of the agreements adopted by the UN nation-members. These nations try to conform to these agreed-upon goals. For example, the Netherlands have recently decided to shut down 3000 farms, in an effort to reduce nitrogen emissions. The one Scriptures that comes to mind here is Rom 1:25 “(people) changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.” Climate change, not sin or man’s worldly lifestyles, has become the new problem of society. Another Scripture that comes to mind is 1 Tim 4:1-3 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created…” By shutting down farms, animals that produce meat get culled. And then of course with the LBTQ+ agenda, traditional marriage gets frowned upon, whilst all kinds of sexual perversions get hailed under a hypocritical name, the “Respect for Marriage Act” – signed by pres. Joe Biden on 13 Dec 2022.

The Trans National Institute:
The TNI, an international think tank (www.tni.org), states that gatherings such as the WEF’s Davos meetings are “silent coup d’états” to capture governments. They either planned the Covid pandemic, or if they didn’t plan it, they take advantage of it to further a world takeover with their “Great Reset” of society. Dan 7:25 says that the Antichrist shall think to change times and laws. Perhaps the WEF, in preparation for the Antichrist rule, is doing that already, since their reset changes everything: from capitalism to “stakeholder capitalism” (where effectively the billionaires become richer and the rest of the world become their slaves- controlled by them through chips under the skin or in the brain); from property ownership to paupers subject to the whims and demands of the New World government, from pro-traditional marriage laws to “neutral” pro-LBTQ+ laws etc.

Come out of her, my people
In Rev 18:4 the Lord is calling Christians to “come out of her, my people.” Of course this means spiritually i.e. we should not partake in Mystery Babylon’s debauchery, blasphemy, sexual immorality, idolatry etc. Mystery Babylon is called the mother of harlots- Rev 17:5. A harlot by definition is someone with many lovers. This indicates idolatry with many gods, many idols. God wants us to have ONLY one God- this is the first commandment- Ex 20:3. But could “come out of her, my people” have more than a spiritual interpretation? Perhaps. Here are two simple examples: Is it safe to say that we cannot work for, or live amongst, people whose goals are exactly the opposite of what the Bible teaches? Should I work as cleaner in a brothel, for example? I think not. Should I allow my young children to be injected by the mRNA vaccine, that Poison Expert Dr. Janci Lindsa warned could “potentially sterilize an entire generation” I think not!

So I believe God wants us to also distance ourselves from One World Government initiatives and programs. If we don’t we’ll submit ourselves, willingly or at the very least by omission, to its idolatry and eventual judgement.

Rev 18:3 tells us that the kings of the earth have committed fornication with Mystery Babylon, and the “merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” The Greek explains this better “δυναμεως του στρηνους” (dunamos tou streneous) = power of their efforts. It certainly includes man’s lust after materialism. And it certainly shows how the globalists became rich.

Then Rev 18:23 says that “thy merchants were the great men of the earth: for by they sorceries were all nations deceived” The Greek word for “sorceries” is φαρμακεια – pharmakeia: the root word for pharmaceuticals. This could refer to deceiving all nations through illegal narcotics, but it could also very well mean deceiving the nations through vaccines! I don’t think it is coincidence that Bill Gates, for example, has a major stock investment in the companies that produced the Covid vaccines.

Rev 18: 3 says that “all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Jer 51: 6 tells us to “flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity…” This wine of Mystery Babylon has a lot of ingredients. It includes the idolatrous worshipping of “mother” earth instead of Father God- Rom 1:25; it includes the LBTQ+ movement- Rom 1:26,27; it includes the Black Lives Matter movement, that at its core has hatred for the police and law-enforcement- Rom 13:1; it includes the idol of (selective) Science geared towards serving the ideas of the globalists, such as Facebook’s censorship of free debate about the coronavirus; it includes the idol of Climate Change, that at its core worship the earth, etc.

The Rapture will certainly be a removal of born-again Christians out of Mystery Babylon. But until the rapture happens we have an obligation to “come out of her”- not only spiritually, but in tangible ways. We see in Dan 6:10 how Daniel, when it was decreed to only serve king Darius, Daniel opened his window, kneeled upon his knees, and prayed to God. Daniel openly defied the idolatrous system. Perhaps more Christians should be bold enough to dare to be a Daniel!
